Andrew Bogut’s injury-plauged beginning to his Warriors’ career has many fans crying “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?”
The man who was supposed to save Joe Lacob’s reputation has played in just four games this season and has been sidelined with an ankle injury since God knows when.
The plan was for Bogut to return to practice on Monday and play against the Pacers on Saturday, but as we learned today, that is no longer the case.
Carl Steward of the Bay Area News Group sent out a series of tweets saying that Bogut did not practice today (just limited running and shooting) and there is no timetable for his return. However, he has ruled out playing on Saturday.
According to Steward, Bogut said that “he may have set himself back by trying to play at the outset of the season.”
In the four games that he has played, Bogut is averaging six points and 3.8 rebounds in just 18.3 minutes per game.
