Warriors Look for Redemption Against Nuggets: Game Preview

Tonight, the Warriors face possibly their most challenging opponents in the last couple of games.

The Warriors have won the past 4/5 games, and are looking better than ever, even without superstar Andrew Bogut. They’re feeling better than ever because they’ve finally got Klay Thompson out of his slump, and now his chance for redemption has come. The one word the Warriors need to think of is redemption; that’s all that matters.

Against the Nuggets last week, Klay Thompson had a miserable night, and he missed two free throws that would have sealed the victory for the Warriors. Not only that, but he failed to foul Danilo Gallinari, and the Nuggets tied the game.

The Nuggets powerhouse includes Lawson, Iguodala, Gallinari and Faried. This means that they will be a force from the outside and inside. The Warriors, now in the top-seven in points in the paint, will be fine with Lee and Ezeli, but the three point line needs to be in the Warriors side. Klay Thompson will be the x-factor again tonight. For his redemption, he needs to have another 20 point game to prove that he’s out the of the slump.

Key to the game: Shut out Galinari. He had a bad start to season, but now he is picking up his game, and has found that sweet stroke that Nuggets fans expected. His clutch play may be enough to overcome the Warriors again.

Game Predictions:

Leading Scorer: Galinari, 29

Matchup to Watch: Stephen Curry, Ty Lawson

Winner: Nuggets by 3-5 points
