The Oakland Raiders have now lost their last three games by a combined score of 135-69, and owner Mark Davis made it known afterwards that he was dissapointed, apologizing to the fans:

"I apologize to the fans. I’m embarrassed for ‘em. Because they live and die as Raiders fans, and I feel for ‘em, I really do. And we’re gonna get it right. If it’s for anybody, it’s for them. I feel the same way. I’m a fan. And I take responsibility for it, gonna get it right."

Davis said that he didn’t think that the team had the talent to win the Superbowl, but he thought that they would at least compete for the division crown and a playoff spot.

If the last three games were any implication, there is no way that Davis’ dreams will be fufilled. The Raiders’ owner also had some critical comments of new GM Reggie McKenzie and rookie head coach Dennis Allen.

"You can’t blame it on the salary cap and all that. You have players and you coach ‘em and you play, you gotta be Raiders. I’m just saying right now I’m a little disappointed with the regression. But like I say, they’ll fight. … And hopefully they’ll fix it. … I am patient but I want to see progress."

So do McKenzie and Allen get a “pass” on their first year?

“I wouldn’t call it a pass,” Davis said, “They’ve got contracts, they’re gonna be here.”
