With no hockey in San Jose, all of the action shifts to San Francisco, where the Bulls are in their inaugural season in the ECHL. Now, they are drawing interest from NHL players hungry for some action.
On Monday, the Bulls announced that they had signed Edmonton Oilers’ defenseman Theo Peckham, and he would be available to suit for their game on Friday at home.
Peckham has spent parts of four seasons with the Oilers, recording four goals and 12 assists during that span. He was third in the NHL in penalty minutes in 2010 with 198.
And just today, the Bulls signed San Jose Sharks’ winger Ryane Clowe to a contract. Clowe will practice with the team, and is also available to play in Frida night’s game.
Clowe, a fan favorite in San Jose, had 17 goals last season. In seven season with the Sharks, Clowe has 101 goals and 159 assists.
