Tonight is the second of the Sacramento Kings’ three-game road trip, and the first of two games in their first back to back.

The Kings have a tough task tonight at the Target Center in Minnesota, as the Timberwolves prepare to begin their season tonight.

The Kings have to be ready to play better all around basketball tonight, as they lost a close game to the Bulls Wednesday night in Chicago.

If the Kings want to win tonight they must maintain control of the ball and limit turnovers. The Kings had 21 turnovers against the Bulls, a number which must come down for the team to win games.

The Kings also need to move the ball and keep the offense from becoming stagnant. If they pass the ball and allow for spacing, they have a chance to surprise several teams around the league.

Sacramento has a very good opportunity to steal a win in the Target Center tonight because Minnesota is without starters Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love.

The X-factor tonight is Brandon Roy. What will Roy bring to the table? Will he be able to add the spark the Timberwolves desperately need?

Look for tonight’s Key match-up to be Tyreke Evans vs. Brandon Roy. If Evens can shut down Roy like he did with Luol Deng, the Kings have a very good chance to win this evening. They need to focus on winning tonight’s game, and giving themselves a chance to go 2-1 on this road trip.
