The Sacramento Kings begin their regular season tonight in Chicago against a Bulls team that, like the Kings, have a lot to prove this season.

The Kings will have a large task this evening at the United Center playing a Bulls team that is a proven defensive-minded team. If the Kings are to have any success against the Bulls tonight, they must continue to play team basketball; which starts with defense.

Aaron Brooks and Isaiah Thomas have to be active pressuring the ball, and force the Bulls to slow their offense, making them play more half-court basketball.

DeMarcus Cousins faces his first test of the season facing Joakim Noah. Noah is always active on both sides of the flour, and if Cousins can stay out of foul trouble, the Kings have a great chance to win the game tonight.

Expect Kings’ head coach Keith Smart to use 10 to 11 players tonight.
