The San Francisco Giants hung on in Cincinnati to defeat the Reds 6-4, and advance to the NLCS. Buster Posey provided the big hit with a grand slam to make it a 6-0 game, but the Reds clawed back against Matt Cain and the Giants’ bullpen.
Sergio Romo struck out Scott Rolen to end the game, after the Reds had three chances with the winning run at the plate.
